Orphex vs Improvado

Who this page is for: For in-house teams and agencies comparing Improvado’s “agentic OS” with Orphex. Improvado is built around a large data pipeline and warehouse; Orphex is built around analysis and approved changes on the ad accounts you already run (Free or Action plan, changes switched on for the workspace).

In short: Improvado is an enterprise data layer: 1,000+ connectors, a warehouse and governance, set up as a project. Orphex starts with the Meta and Google accounts you already run, on a free MCP plan with no data project. Once changes are switched on for the workspace (50 a month on Free, 500 on Action), it turns findings into changes you preview and confirm, and the Orphex web app measures them with Impact Analysis.

Which One Fits
Choose Orphex

If you want to start on Meta and Google without a data project: your assistant reads the accounts on any MCP plan, and once changes are switched on for your workspace (50 a month on Free, 500 on Action), it proposes changes that are previewed and confirmed on Orphex’s side. Alerts, the Weekly Summary and Impact Analysis come with the Orphex web app.

Choose Improvado

If you need an enterprise data layer: 1,000+ connectors, warehouse destinations, governance rules across naming and budgets, attribution or MMM as add-ons, and compliance such as SOC 2 and HIPAA.

Why Teams Look for a Improvado Alternative

  1. Getting value takes a data project: connectors, a data model and often Professional Services.
  2. Its fix actions are cards in the app. No tool in its published MCP list writes to an ad platform.
  3. Attribution and MMM come as paid add-ons built with Professional Services.

Where Orphex Is Different

How Long Setup Takes

Improvado’s strength is its data layer: extracts, loads, recipes, a common data model and warehouse destinations. Several features are turned on through your CSM, including hourly refresh, creative analytics and fix actions (as of September 2026).

Orphex starts from the Meta and Google accounts you connect. In the Orphex web app, alerts, Insights and the Weekly Summary work on that data without building pipelines first.

For example: A team spending $200K a month on Meta and Google wants a view of what changed last week. With Orphex they connect both accounts on the Free plan and ask their assistant. With a warehouse-first platform, the same question starts with extracts and a data model.

What Happens After the Assistant Proposes

Improvado’s MCP docs say “read and write” access, and a September 2026 blog shows Claude pausing campaigns after you approve in Claude. The published MCP tool list names no tool that writes to an ad platform. Approval in that flow is the assistant’s own prompt.

On the Free or Action plan, with changes switched on for the workspace, Orphex’s writes are named and documented per platform, and each one is previewed and confirmed on Orphex’s side. The confirmation carries the preview, and a second approver can be required per workspace.

For example: You ask to lower budgets on four Google campaigns that are overspending. In Orphex each campaign’s budget is its own preview with the current and new daily budget, the readiness check runs again, and the change waits for your confirmation, or a colleague’s if your workspace requires it.

Creative Analysis on the Platforms You Run

Improvado’s Creative Analytics tags creatives with 14 attributes, and it covers Meta and Reddit, as an add-on (as of September 2026). Creative AI in the Orphex web app analyzes creatives and links them to performance; it uses credits, and the cost is shown before it runs.

For example: An account with both Meta and Google Display creatives can compare them in one Creative AI view instead of analyzing Meta only.

Who Orphex Is Best For

  • You run Meta and Google and want answers this week, not after a data project.
  • You want your assistant to propose real changes that you preview and confirm.
  • You want alerts and a Weekly Summary out of the box, in the Orphex web app.
  • You want Impact Analysis in the web app on each change, without a separate measurement project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Improvado change my Meta or Google campaigns?

As of September 2026, governance fix actions can pause or change budgets and are enabled per account in a gradual rollout. We found no MCP tool in the published list that writes to an ad platform.

Is Orphex an enterprise data warehouse?

No. Orphex analyzes ad accounts and, once changes are switched on for the workspace, changes them. If you need a warehouse, Improvado or a similar tool is the right fit.

How does Orphex price AI?

On MCP plans, reads, previews, approved changes, undo and creating campaigns cost no credits. In the Orphex web app, Creative AI shows its credit cost first, Impact Analysis shows a credit cap and charges per detected effect, and each Orpheus message uses 1 to 3 credits. Reports, alerts and the Weekly Summary use none.

Does Orphex need a CSM to turn features on?

MCP plans are self-serve. The Free plan includes 50 changes a month and the Action plan 500, once a workspace admin switches changes on in Settings.

Start with the Accounts You Already Run

Connect Meta and Google on the Free plan. Have changes switched on for your workspace when you want your assistant to propose changes you confirm: 50 a month on Free, 500 on Action.
